Each STEAM Kit includes the required materials, assembly instructions and suggested activities. A single kit supports one learner working through one activity, which makes it the right size for a home project, a small-group station or trying a topic before committing to a bundle.
Kits start at $3, and RAFT members save 25% on most of them. Ten-packs start at $18, or $13.50 for members, which is the usual choice for a classroom station or a group running the same activity together.
RAFT collects clean, usable surplus from local businesses, schools and community organizations, material that would otherwise have gone to waste, and turns it into kits. Buying a kit keeps material out of landfill and puts it in a student’s hands instead.
