Our Unique Program

Experience the joy of hands-on STEAM learning in this weekly summer camp designed for students in grades K - 8 who learn by doing. We take campers on learning adventures with weeks of STEAM activities, team-building exercises, and camper-run projects. As inventors-in-training, campers use their imagination, creativity, and engineering to prototype, build, and solve real-world problems.

Each week follows a different theme, so participants choose one or more weeks depending on their interests and schedule. Join us for one or more weeks to build things that fly, soar, float, and grow!

Weekly Journey at a Glance

Campers engage in storytelling, STEAM hands-on exploration, STEAM games, and team projects each week. Our camp themes vary by location so check out our camp registration page for details. Here's a sneak peek of one of our camp themes:

Groovy Automata

Explore simple machines to create automata (singular = automaton). These are mechanical devices made to move in life-like or automated ways. For example, think of a butterfly model where you pull a string to make its wings flap. Imagine you are an inventor asked to develop automata exhibits for a new museum in town. What might you create? That’s what we’ll work on as we learn more about the mechanics of automata!
