Your membership funds RAFT and gets you into the store, the Educator Workroom and the Lab. $25 a year.

Membership options

Membership and renewals: $25 a year

The standard membership. Includes every benefit listed below. Renews annually.

Day Pass: $15 a day

Lets you make purchases at the store for a single day. Available in store only, not online.

Group membership (10 or more): $20 a year per person

For schools and organizations enrolling ten or more people. Email membership@raft.net with details about your group. Memberships are held individually rather than organization-wide.

What membership gets you

Purchase from the RAFT Store. Anyone may visit, but only members can buy. That covers low-cost materials, hands-on teaching tools and school supplies, including creative reuse material in bulk or by the bag.
Discounts on Spark STEAM Kits. Non-members can buy kits online; members get a 25% online discount and larger discounts in the store.
Access to the Educator Workroom, the creative workspace inside the store, with equipment, ideas and staff help.
Access to the Educator Lab, including the laser cutter, 3D printer and computers running design software such as Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW.
Professional development training. RAFT workshops on hands-on education, with a certificate confirming the training hours completed.
Discounted room rentals for hosting an event, workshop or gathering at RAFT.

Join or renew

Membership is $25 and renews yearly. You will be asked a few questions about your school or organization, then taken to secure checkout.

A membership bought online is linked to the account that buys it. To buy one for someone else, email customerservice@raft.net.

Who can join

Anyone supporting the education community: educators, parents, homeschoolers, afterschool and program staff. RAFT asks for proof of affiliation, which is a school ID or school email address for educators, the name of your student’s school for parents, or the number and ages of students you work with if you homeschool.

The rules worth knowing

Memberships are not transferable. Sharing a card may forfeit the membership.
One guest per member for shopping, including a child, who must be supervised at all times.
Guests are not allowed in the Educator Workroom.
Visiting RAFT is free. A membership is only needed to buy something.
