Our RAFT Maker Mobile brings high-quality, hands-on STEAM learning experiences to you. We show up with a fully equipped van, expert educators, and the tools and upcycled materials students need for hands-on discovery.
The mobile unit arrives at your school or community site, fully equipped and ready to run.
Everything the session needs travels with the van. Nothing is sourced, prepped or set up by your team.
A dedicated RAFT team guides students through the activities, from the challenge launch through reflection.
Reclaimed surplus invites inventive thinking and low-cost prototyping.
Activities range from a short, hands-on engagement built around one of RAFT’s Spark STEAM Kits to a more intensive community service project. We will work within your parameters and build a program around what you need.
The STEAM field trip comes to your school or site during the school day.

The Maker Mobile can serve up to 120 students in a day. Session size within that depends on the activity and the space you have.

Mentors and volunteers help run Maker Mobile sessions. A background in education is welcome but not required; enthusiasm for helping kids build things is the main qualification.
