CSI:RAFT 2022 Annual Fundraiser
On September 21, 2022, RAFT hosted its annual fundraising event. This year’s event, CSI:RAFT, highlighted what resources are needed to have an engaging classroom. We had over 100 in-person attendees while 20 joined us online.
During the hybrid event, guests were able to learn more about RAFT, honor the people and organizations that have made a profound impact on the education community, and learn what RAFT is doing to support joy in learning.
We were able to raise over $350,000 for the 6,000 educators and 100,000 students we serve annually! Thank you for supporting CSI:RAFT!
Our Hosts
Steve Rummell, RAFT Director of Partnerships, was the host of the evening. Helping Steve with the Fund-A-Need portion of the program was Sundi Sundaresh, RAFT Vice Chair of the Board of Directors and head of the Development Committee.

RAFT was pleased to honor Donna Whitney and Randy Pond as RAFT Heroes during the event. These heroes have supported RAFT because of their strong passion for educators and students.

RAFT Partner of the Year
RAFT is proud to honor the Synopsys Silicon Valley Science & Technology Outreach Foundation as our 2022 Partner of the Year Award recipient. The Synopsys Outreach Foundation is committed to igniting interest, nurturing potential, and empowering all students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. For the past two years, the foundation has partnered with RAFT to deliver STEAM Project Kits, Maker Mobile visits, memberships, and professional development training.
