Volunteer Opportunities

Over 55,000 RAFT volunteers have served over 500,000 hours to build RAFT activity kits and get hands-on materials into the classroom.

From assembling educational kits and sorting through material donations, to assisting members in RAFT's Teacher Workshop, your time will help over 8,000 educators every year.

Volunteer at RAFT San Jose

Visit us at our San Jose headquarters to prep and package STEAM Project kits, help educators in the Educator Workroom, and more! Individuals and groups are welcome. Morning and afternoon shifts are available Tuesday through Sunday.

Maker Mobile Volunteer

Be a critical part of RAFT’s
Maker Mobile Van events!

We seek volunteers to help co-facilitate our Maker Mobile activities with students in grades K-8. This is a great opportunity to work directly with students in a fun and highly engaging learning environment.
