RAFT Store is a member-based shopping and resource environment where educators of all varieties come to shop, collaborate, and learn. We have been called the “Costco” and “Home Depot” of educator supplies, where our low-cost and unique offerings help our members stretch their dollar and maximize the impact for their students.
Educator Workroom
Our Educator Workroom is a creative workspace equipped with a variety of materials and tools to meet your needs. RAFT members using the Educator Workroom can rely on assistance from RAFT staff and knowledgeable volunteers for ideas and also have the opportunity to collaborate and learn from other RAFT members.
What's in the Educator Workroom?
RAFT’s Educator Lab is an innovative space with a variety of resources and equipment for developing unique designs and creating new teaching tools. It’s used for Educator Lab events, which are skills-based workshops where you can learn how to use specialized equipment and tools, meet and listen to guest speakers, and learn to process materials in unique ways. Some of the equipment, tools, and materials available:
- Universal laser engraver
- Glowforge
- 3D printer
- Hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers, clamps, etc.)
- Power tools
- Wood scraps and precut lumber
- and more!
Classroom Materials
RAFT has an abundance of low-cost materials that can be used for school and home projects. Thanks to our generous corporate partners we are able to offer our educator community office supplies; art supplies; bulk materials such as foam, corks, fabric and bottle caps; furniture; technology; and unique, one-of-a-kind items at a fraction of what you would have to pay at other retail stores.
STEAM Project Kits
RAFT’s STEAM Project Kits are quality hands-on learning materials available for purchase either in-store or online for parents, guardians, educators, and students. Each kit includes assembly instructions, suggested activities, and materials required for an engaging hands-on lesson that families can do together.
