Dear RAFT Community:
As you may know, RAFT has recently appointed me to lead this great charitable organization as Interim CEO. I’m thrilled to be able to contribute to fulfill RAFTs mission of helping educators to transform a child’s learning experience through hands-on education to inspire the joy and discovery of learning.
I am a veteran of RAFT and I look forward to reengaging with many of you as well as meeting new members of our community. My RAFT experience is over a decade long. I held the role of Head of Marketing between 2009 and 2010, and I served on RAFT’s board, and as Board Chairman. Additionally, I have a long history in the Silicon Valley corporate world and have held executive positions at Hewlett Packard and most recently Oracle.
RAFT is a unique organization that successfully connects corporations and educators in the very critical effort to increase STEAM learning via re-purposed material donations and partnerships. It is my honor to lead RAFT as the board of directors conducts a search and eventually appoints a new CEO for RAFT. RAFT has an extremely strong and dedicated staff in place that will continue to work diligently to serve RAFT’s community with the help of strong volunteers, partners, corporate sponsors, and donors. It’s such a privilege to work with this wonderful RAFT staff and community.
