Gravity Defying Spring

Hold and drop a spring and observe momentary weightlessness! This activity combines the laws of motion and gravity and can be used to explore Hooke’s law, which deals with the elastic forces in springs. Expectations are sometimes different from reality. These discrepant events can create memorable impressions and heighten one’s interest in science phenomena!
