The Educator Workroom is a creative workspace inside the RAFT Store. Members get exclusive access to it, along with the equipment, ideas and staff help that go with it.
Getting in
- An appointment is required, and the Workroom runs on Saturdays and Sundays only.
- The Cricut machine needs an appointment on any day the store is open.
- One member per appointment, and one appointment per member per day.
- One hour per visit.
- No guests in the Workroom, even though a member may bring one guest for shopping.
- Dies used during a session are left on the workstation afterwards.
What else is in there
Members also get access to the Educator Lab, which has the laser cutter, the 3D printer and computers running design software including Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW, so a design can be finished properly before it is cut or printed.
While you are in the store
No food or drink inside. All technology items have been tested before sale. RAFT charges $0.10 per store shopping bag, so bring your own if you can.
Store hours
Open six days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9am to 5pm, Thursday 9am to 7pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am to 4pm, closed Monday.
