STEAM Dream Camp

Join us this summer for a week or more at a STEAM Dream Camp designed for students in grades K-8. Students will share stories structured around hands-on learning with STEAM kits and curricula specifically developed for the STEAM camp. These fun activities will excite and delight your child.

Staffed by Credentialed Teachers

All sessions are led by credentialed teachers and staff counselors trained in teaching STEAM activities. Class groups are limited to 20 students with a student-teacher ratio of 10:1.

Check Out Some of Our Fun Hands-on Kits

Many of our innovative science technology kits are made with recycled materials.

Check out this cool kit called “Fizzy Rocket”, for grades 4-12, one of RAFT’s popular kits.

Or the fabulous “Hovercraft, for grades 4-12, another popular one.

And for those with green thumbs “The Germinator”, targeting grades K-8.

STEAM Dream Camp Themes

Our Education team has developed a range of topics that will help inspire your child’s curiosity, creativity and teamwork skills. This year’s themes include Found in Space, Autonomous Rover, Life Force, and Watery World. STEAM projects explore each theme and are tied to Common Core State Standards(CCSS) and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). These learning educational resources reinforce and/or introduce concepts that will refresh your students knowledge and excitement for the topic.

Our approach prioritizes having joy and fun rather than rigorous academics. Working in small groups fosters collaborative learning, sharing and story-telling through show and tell. Hands-on learning enables students to experiment with building and designing in technology engineering. Students will leave the camp with a renewed love for learning, collaboration and problem solving.

What Did You Do On Your Summer Vacation?

Our campers will certainly be ready for the new school year when they are asked: “What did you do on your summer vacation?” They will be prepared to answer that questionor write that essay with passion!
